Braden's Twin Report

Braden did his great brain report on twins...he was so excited to bring the babies to school and show them to all his friends. When we walked in his teacher said, "so these are the two we hear so much about!" Braden just loves his brother and sister. Braden did a wonderful job, he wasn't nervous at all and even improvised a bit when talking about the babes. He did a great job answering questions from the class when he was all done. What a guy!
Showing off Mr. Justin, or stinky as he calls him.

6 months

The babes went in today for their 6 months check up. Braden, my ever willing helper came with me to be my extra set of arms. They did great and are very healthy, they each recieved 5 shots, which Braden did not like. Justin is in the 50% , weighing 16lbs 3oz and 25 3/4 inches long. Jessica is in the 10%, weighting 12lbs 14oz and 241/2 inches long.
Jessica is showing her personality more each day, she continues to be aware of everything around her and wants to be right in the middle of it. She is sitting up mostly on her own and is rolling all over the place. She devoures her cereal/fruits/veggies. She shows her joy through her whole body, kicking and waving her arms around. She LOVES her bath and is sure to be a water baby!
Justin boy is proving to be our BEST baby. He is very mild mannered and content. He is super cuddly and seems to hug you when you pick him up. He has a wonderful laugh, and his shy, bashful manner makes us all melt. He is rolling everywhere and is trying to sit up on his own.

Braden's 10th Bday

The birthday crew waiting for the lazer tag, minus CJ and Tanner
Jacob and Nathan lazer tag ready
tickets tickets and more tickets
"Are we done yet?"
Since it was an even birthday it was a party year. As the kids get older we have given them the option of just taking the money or having a party on this year. Braden wanted the party and so off we went to Classic skating. It is a great place for boys espcially in the winter, skating, bounce houses, jungle gym, lazer tag, and a new blast zone, where you try and hit your friends with balls - a perfect place for Braden and his friends. Since the kids were off track it was nice to get the party done during the week when it isn't as crowded. The boys had a wonderful time and thanks to Grandma and Grandpa, I was able to leave the twins at home. Braden is growing up so fast. It is wonderful to watch him interact with the babies, he just loves them and is very patient. He is still our one that lives in the moment and is a little bit of a space cadet:) He makes us laugh and has a ready smile for all! We love you Brady boy, fuzz head, sweep lips:)

5 Months

New Years babies, with cute shirts from Uncle Spencer and Aunt Cherokee
Daddy Time
This girl is always all over me:) Wow 5 months already! The babes are both rolling around, we have to keep a close eye on them now. They are eating their cereal along with most fruits and veggies and loving it. Jess can't get enough food and Justin can't get enough bottle! Their personalities continue to emerge more and more! We just love having them in our home!

Holiday sledding

Poor Braden got all the snow in his face from my feet.
Ty with some "sick" air!
Nate getting some air!
Jaron with his tag along, Braden:)
Sledding at the "secret forest" right down the street from us. The city has turned it into a nice park and it has wonderful sledding hills. The boys love the snow. Tyson got a new snowboard/sled for Christmas and is pretty darn good on it! We all went over while my mom was here (she watched babies) and had a great time!

I love my mom!!!

Over Christmas break, my mom came and stayed with us for 10 days. It was wonderful to have her here with us. She is such a huge help! Not only with the babies, but with laundry, house pick up and dinner prep. She also tackled having all 5 kids a few times while Jaron and I enjoyed some time together. She is so willing to help in any way she can and I know that she just LOVES to hold, love, bath, feed, the babes. I miss her now that she is gone, not just because of the constant help, but I miss her company. It was nice to have another adult around 24/7 that would enjoy all the little things the babies did. It was wonderful to just hang out with her and be able to chat about nothing in particular. I love you mom and thank you for spending your Christmas break with us. We miss you!!!
