Nathans Prayers
Lately Nathans prayers have gone something like this:
Thank you for the gospel and
please bless him...
I haven't had the heart to tell him that the gospel is not a person because it is so cute to hear him say that. Tonight at family night though the bubble was burst. Tyson, being the older, wiser brother, firmly told Nathan after his prayer that the gospel was not Heavenly Father and we do not need to bless it.

Blogging 101
I love when my friends know things that I don't know. They can come over and show me how to do things, without me having to figure it out myself! I lean on Jaron a lot for that when it comes to computer stuff. But since he has nothing to do with blogging, I called my trusted friend Christa for a Blogging 101 lesson. All my questions got answered and my blog is now looking the way I want it to. Thank you for your help Christa!

Halloween
A night for goblins, ghouls, skeletons, and witches. We decided this year to add to that night a wizard, a gangsta, the grim reaper, a police man, and a nerd!
Jaron had too much fun scaring the older kids in our neighborhood when he answered the door. All the inside lights were out and he would open the door slowly and not say a word. Tyson and Nathan had fun posing for pictures.

It was an unseasonably warm evening which made going out with the kids nice. We made it around the whole neighborhood, a first for us! It helps that we were with the Barrus' who are veterans at that! Here is the whole crew before going out.

Pumpkin Carving
October is Jaron's favorite month of the year, it helps that it is the month of his birthday! He enjoys everything fall, the weather, the food, football, his birthday and Halloween. I love that he gets so into this holiday. I also love that he enjoys carving the pumpkins with the kids. The boys look forward to the evening they can spend with dad and carve their pumpkins. The last few years we have grown our own pumpkins which has made it that much more enjoyable. Each year the kids get their pumpkins and show dad the face they want. This year Tyson was old enough to carve his own so it didn't take as long to get them all done.
