28 week twin update

So yesterday I had another growth ultrasound for the babies. They are both doing great and grow, growing.
Here is Jessica's cute face, you are looking straight on with some hands in the way:) She is measuring 27 weeks 1 day and around 2lbs, 1 oz. She has moved head down...yay! Poor little girl though is in a little ball with her legs over her face too. Those boys like to take up all the room:)
Here is Justin's (the name we are leaning towards) profile. He is measuring 28 weeks 4 days and around 2 lbs, 9 oz. He is also head down and has been for a while. He loves to kick me right in the ribs. Oh the joys of having two babies share one space.
I am currently 28 weeks. I got my iron levels checked and I am super low at 29 where low is 36. That is a relief to hear that I am low on iron because I really have been dragging lately. I am looking forward to having a little more energy. My body is doing great carrying these two. I go to the doc every 2 weeks now and as with every pregnancy, we have no idea when these two will grace us with their presence:)

15 YEARS

I can't believe that it has been 15 years since Jaron and I got married. I am sure most of you married people can realate when I say it seems like it has been longer than that. If you look at all the things that we have done together in the past 15 years it adds up to many good memories and times shared with eachother. We have had 3 children, moved 7 times, had many job changes, visited CA A LOT, and been in eachothers company every day. We have grown together in our relationship so much in the last 15 years that it is hard to believe that we really got married when we didn't really know eachother. Here are 15 things I LOVE about Jaron:
1. the wonderful husband he is to me
2. watching him play with our kids
3. the way he respects me and teaches our boys to resect me
4. his sence of humor
5. the way he can tell when I am having a hard time and he takes over
6. the open communication we share
7. the hard worker he is and how he provides so well for us
8. the way he takes pride in our yard
9. the way we work together to solve problems
10. his listening ear
11. ok his butt:)
12. the way his eyes smile when he is really happy
13. when he takes me out on a date
14. how he makes each of our boys feel special in their own way
15. that he love me
Thanks for 15 great years babe....here's to another 15 on this great adventure called life!

Doc Appt

Tuesday I went to the doc for my 25 week check up. I measured 31 weeks, no wonder I feel so huge. The doc said to expect the same symptoms as a 31 week pregnancy. He said that for a twin pregnancy I was doing really well. The kids looked good in their little bubbles of bliss. The boy is head down and the girl is sideways across my belly. All of the limbs are on my top right side, no wonder I feel kicking there ALL THE TIME. There are days when I am feeling really ready to be done being pregnant. Thank goodness we are in the final stretch:) I now go every two weeks with an official ultrasound every 4 weeks. The countdown continues...

Six Months

Six months already:) I am happy to say that things are going very well. I am feeling the usual tired, hate to bend down, heartburn, stuffy nose, hard to get comfortable, etc. But other than that all is well:) I have had many people tell me that for carrying twins I am not that big. Well, I beg to differ, so here is a photo of me at 6 months pregnant with Nathan
And one at six months with the twins!
Now we can all see the difference!

Nathan's First Lost Tooth

Nathan lost his first tooth a couple of weeks ago. He has been pretending that his teeth are loose for a long time now and finally it happened. He was opening a candy with his teeth and it got really loose from that. Then a day later it just fell out. It was fun to watch him try not to eat on his loose tooth. Now that the tooth is gone, the one next to it is loose... Tooth Fairy, here we go!
