36 weeks

Well since my last post things have changed...do you expect anything less with babies:) I am now scheduled to go in next Friday July 31 to have the babies. I have progressed to a 3 in the last 2 weeks. We are now unsure if we will be doing a C section or not since little Jessica moves around so much. In the last week she has totally flipped from one side to the other, still laying across my body. It is getting close quarters in there and I am ready to move to the next stage...bring on sleepless nights, sore body, etc. just so we can get past it! We are excited to see what these two will look like. At last check, which was last week Jessica was weighing 4lbs 13oz and Justin was 5lbs 10oz. I have had a very good twin preganacy, that all the nurses and docs like to tell me when I am in there. I know it is a blessing that everything has gone so well and that my body has held up and sustained these two babies. I also know that if it wasn't for those that have helped me in many ways I wouldn't have been able to stay as active and healthy. Thank you!

Hiking

Jaron took the boys hiking the other night and they had a great time. They went up to Albian Basin and did a small hike to Cecret Lake.
The boys were like mountain goats, climbing every rock they could.
They even got to see a mama Moose with her baby.
They came home fithly dirty, full of stories and memories, and holding flowers for mom. Oh how I wish I could have gone with them!

Our Weekend

Well Friday I hit 34 weeks....YAY!!! The babies are looking great and my body is still holding strong. The only bummer is that Jessica has moved and is now head up so odds are I will be having a C-section. In fact, I am scheduled for Aug. 10th. Next week I have my growth check and I am anxious to see how big these babies are getting, they seem HUGE to me:)

My every day attire around the house, Jarons tshirt and pajama pants:)

Unfortunatly Friday night I caught the stomach flu that Nathan had a couple of days before. It is a pretty violent flu, with fluid coming out both ends. After a couple of hours of running to the potty I tried to sleep, only to be awoken by contractions that were about 2 min. apart. Jaron and I decided to go to the hospital and we were so grateful that my mom was here to just be with the sleeping kids. After an IV, some drugs to stop the contractions, and some great drugs to help with the nausea we got home around 3am. I did progress during that time to a 1, where before I was not doing anything. It will be interesting to see what my body does now. I am so glad that my mom is here to help out so I can stay off my feet. She has been busy doing laundry, cooking meals and doing the grocery shopping. Thank you mom for being here!!

Summer Swimmin

My Boys
Ty off the high dive...that is a big step for him:)
We are lucky to have an outdoor pool right down the street from us. Sat. Jaron took the boys for a little swim time so mom could recoup from the stomach flu/hospital trip. Here are some of the pics that he took. The boys loved going off the diving boards and they had the pool mostly to themselves!

4th of July Weekend!

I love the 4th of July in Riverton. There are so many things to do and most of them free:) We kicked our weekend off with a bang...the kids finally getting out of school and the neighborhood kids bike parade. Every year the kids decorate their bikes, scooters, jeeps, whatever and gather in the neighborhood and then walk the route to show all of us waiting to see them. It is always so fun to watch and my kids love decorating their stuff. This year was the first year I didn't have to help them decorate...it was wonderful!
Naturally after the parade, friends gather together and spend the evening. With it being such a mild July we had our fire going and enjoyed an evening with our good friends the Barrus', roasting hot dogs and marshmallows while the kids played in the yard.
Silly Braden... Cute Bonnie Barrus Jenna Fuller in all her 4th of July get up:) The 3rd is always the Riverton City parade. Although it gets more and more crowded each year, the kids enjoy getting candy thrown at them and with the mild weather I was even able to endure the parade! Hey, where's the candy? Waiting for dad at the finish line On the 4th Jaron runs the 10K Riverton race. This is an early morning for us, but we love meeting him at the finish line and cheering him on. He did wonderful this year taking 2nd in his age group (35-39) and 14th overall out of 108 participants. His overall time was 44:01, averaging 7:05 min/mil. All day on the 4th the city park, right down the street from our house is full of activities to do. This year we ate the wonderful chuck wagon breakfast and watch ATV rodeo, where mom got sprayed with mud. When you bring up the rear of the family, the kids don't seem to move fast enough into their seats:) Of course the end all is the fireworks show we can see from our house. It is so nice not to have to go anywhere or fight crowds to watch the show. We did our own before the big show and enjoyed another fire with the Barrus. All in all it was a wonderful weekend, but I am tired:) Now to face the summer with the kids home all day...
